tuned in to Murph for all of five minutes, and he's in full Cubbie viritrol. First he compared Fukudome's outfield defense to Andre Dawson, and said he thought he was the best defensive right fielder since Hawk patrolled it...then no more than a minute later, he was comparing Theriot's swing to right field to Glenn Beckert...Discuss... |

I agree he is the best defensive RF we have had since Dawson, I dont think that is a stretch. |

Saying that Fukudome is the best defense since Dawson played isn't a comparison. If he said "Fukudome is just as good as Dawson" is a comparison. Saying he is better than Sosa and all those after Dawson is comparing Fukudome to the others, not Hawk. |

If morph bent over and shoved his head up his own ass you still couldn't get him to shut his mouth and listen for once when he is talking to people. Morph blows. Period! I have not listened to him in years. |

Showing my age here, but Theriots swing is very similar to beckerts swing. Actually thats the one thing i though of this year when he was getting all those hits to the right side of the field. Murph is a tool, but he isnt wrong on that one. |

There is nothing interesting about it. I'm sick of hearing his commercial and blabbering on about nothing. That's how I know he's still there. Morph blows period end of story. The man can't shut his mouth for one minute to let anyone get in a thought. Whats the point of having any callers when no one can express a thought. Stoney I'm sure would agree. I'm hoping if I can generate a ground swell against the big mouth maybe the Score might ditch this moron. They should bring back North to fill his slot. |
