I think today may be the day that I stop listening to this idiot.

1. He always claims that he is above the Cubs/Sox crap, but he isn't. His show is two hours of subtle jabs at the Sox. The other day he said that Ozzie played into the Twins hands by pulling his team off the field, when the fans were throwing crap on the field. If Lou did this, it would be a genius move by a crafty manager.

2. He said that Uribe should have started at third at the beginning of the year. This is so absurd, that he can't be serious. But, it is Murph, so he probably is. Crede is an all-star, and Uribe is a back up that was wanted by no one but Kenny.

3. The shots he takes at the "experts", and by experts he means Stone. Stone has forgotten more about baseball than Murph will ever know. Murph lets personal vendettas get in the way of reality. He was talking about Samardzija today, and the "experts" say that we need to see more, before we anoint him as the next great thing. Murph already wants to build him his own wing at the HOF. Wait until hitters see him a few times. I'm not saying he will be bad, but the jury is still out.

4. He keeps talking about Griffey, and how he is past his prime, and can't play defense anymore. Does that sound like another center fielder on the north side?

I am not a Cubs fan, but I do follow what they are doing, and do not mind Cubbie chatter. But, this show is a two hour Cubbie ass licking fest.

Murph needs a partner. Long and short of it. What became of Murph's Life Partner on this site, anyways?

Well, then you're in luck, because you can get plenty of White Sox talk on WSCR over on Mully & Hanley, Boers & Bernstein, White Sox pregame, White Sox postgame, or right before Murph, Laurence Holmes, a UUUGE Sox fan, talking tee-oo yee-oo about the South Siders.

Not really, inasmuch as Edmonds is fielding better than Felix Pie or Reed Johnson were, even past his prime.

The show was brutal apart from any of that (for the record, Griffey is way worse than Edmonds at this point in his career, especially defensively, and I hated the Edmonds signing. Griffey has already cost the Sox one game and damn near cost them the first game of the Detroit series.) The whole "MVP" discussion of whether a player can be MVP of the league and not of the team was excrusiating. Under no acceptable rubric could Theriot or Derosa be defined as Most Valuable Players. I just think Murph gets horny thinking about small white baseball players. The "who needs experts" talk was thinly veiled and cheap as well.
