Phil Rosenthal says: No static at all - CBS Radio's WXRT-FM 93.1 is scheduled to complete its move to NBC Tower on Sept. 6, as on-air personalities leave behind their beloved hovel on Belmont Avenue to join sister station WSCR-AM 670. |

It's not breaking news, friends. I have heard "SCORE" guys mention the XRT move to NBC Tower for quite sometime, even before Phil Rosenthal's story in the Trib. Listeners likely won't notice that much of a difference in the station's sound once the jocks, their massive collection of CDs and other equipment move to their new home... |
