DIALING: It's 'Hamp & Holmes' today
* * Ex-Bear Dan Hampton and Laurence Holmes debut today as midday hosts on CBS Radio sports/talk WSCR-AM (670).
Airing from 10 a.m. to noon weekdays, the new duo succeeds Mike Mulligan and Brian Hanley, who moved up to replace Mike North as morning hosts.
Hampton, former defensive tackle and Pro Football Hall of Famer, spent 13 years on Tribune Co.-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720). Holmes, a 10-year veteran of the Score, has been a Bears reporter and fill-in host.
