"Murph" & the new show "Hampton & Holmes" flipflopped time slots on the Monday after a Bears' game, and it might be that way for the duration of the football season. However, the "Al & John Show" known as "Sunday Night Football" visit Soldier Field September 28th when the Bears host the Eagles. "Murph" will then be pre-empted for a special Monday edition of the "Doug & O.B. Jiffy Lube Postgame Show" because the Bears are under the lights...

Best way to build an audience for a new show is to dick around with their time slot. Program Directing 101. "THE BEAR IS OUT OF HIS CAGE! HAMPTON AND HOLMES! WEEKDAYS 10 TO NOON! EXCEPT WHEN IT'S A MONDAY! THEN IT'S NOON TO 2 INSTEAD! OR IF THE BEARS ARE ON MONDAY NIGHT THEN THEY'RE ON NOON TO 2 ON TUESDAY AND 10 TO NOON ON MONDAY! ON THE SCORRRRE." |

I understand, and agree with a lot of the "Murph Hate" on here...but for me I look forward to some Cubs radio talk during my lunch hour. The last few Monday's have sucked. I'm not a fan of Larry, or Hampton (radio wise). |
