Was Abbatacola on after the Cubs game? Late at night? Whoever it was sounded very good. Too good for WSCR. Better than Goff. Better than Holmes or Hampton. |

I think the show was awesome, mostly because Matt slowed down his speech and also let the show just run, a la B&B in their better days. He's still not as good as Goff in my book, but he did above and beyond last night. I got a board mention in with him too while sitting on I90 waiting for an hour and a half while the Fire dept. figured out how to fight a truck fire... |

the way the fire was going, I could swear they used gasoline for the first 50 minutes. The first fire truck came, and promptly rode up the exit ramp for route 25, and went back the other direction! What, did you forget to load the water?!! Then the next fire truck came and sat on the shoulder for 10 minutes! On top of that, they sent 3 tow trucks for one truck on fire, of which zero were used to tow the truck off of the shoulder onto the ramp so we could move on down the road. I got home at 3:30 last night and had to get up for work at 7. Never did figure out why a truck on fire on a shoulder should affect ALL four lanes of traffic. With the 20 policecars out there, one would think they could have spared one officer to send traffic around...capper to a long night. Glad I sold game two... |

Listen up Ladies: it was a chemical fire, they couldn't use water. They needed the foam truck. |

Really? So what was on the truck? Why couldn't they open even ONE lane? Eastbound moved right through the smoke... |

According to what I saw at 670thescore.com, not to be confused with this site, Matt Abbatacola's on the air opposite Game 2 of Dodgers/Cubs tonight & after the game, win or lose. |
