Post subject:  Bruce shot at George and Jessie
Coming out of a break on Talkin' Baseball last Saturday, J Hood mentions something to like "welcome back to the longest running baseball talk show in Chicago!" Bruce then says "well if you listen to George and Jessie, they'll tell you they're the best baseball talk show in Chicago." I can't remember how Hoody responded, but Bruce then said he's rather listen to (and I don't exactly remember what, so this may be stretching it) Sunday morning church radio for five hours.

Did anyone else hear this? Normally, I'd reckon it's just someone ball busting the competitor for fun, but we all know Bruce is a cranky old man, so who knows.

Hit 'n' Run is a way better show than Talkin' Baseball.

But they don't compete. Bruce and Chet's Talkin' Baseball is on Saturday. George and Jesse's Hit 'n' Run is on Sunday.

I assume Bruce is Jewish & he'd rather listen to 5 hours of Gentiles?! The lisper needs better analogies.

Beardown, before the White Sox & Cubs were eliminated, "Hit & Run" actually aired instead of Laurence Holmes' Bears pregame show...It was the first time "The SCORE" had ever pre-empted its Bears' coverage in favor of baseball talk.

Hit n' run is one of the better shows on the Score.

WTF did Ted Cox say? .... WMVP 1000-AM is negotiating to extend Bruce Levine's contract at the station. "Obviously, we'd love to retain him," said Program Director Justin Craig. Yet Levine is also a favorite of Score Program Director Mitch Rosen.
