I'm sick of these Score and 1000 hosts that want to talk about how late they stayed out partying the night before or how much pussy they (claim) to get. I'm talking about the Sat night score nerds like Holmes, Zaidman, Goff, etc along with Carm and Silvy. I want to hear about sports, and entertainment is good...but these guys seem so interested in telling the world how cool they are that it's just pathetic. If they were so f'n cool they wouldn't be radio broadcasters.

What would they be then? So then you enjoy listening to people that are uncool? What does that make you?

Listening to sports talk radio does have nothing to do with coolness.
It's a separate issue. I like watching NASCAR, not cause it's cool but cause it's fun to watch. Sports radio is good to listen to if the guys know what they're talking about and it's topical.

But the hosts I mentioned are so interested in getting themselves over as cool guys that they think it's more important the actual sports they're covering. Talking about how much pussy the get, how drunk they got the night before....how the hell is that relevant? Are we supposed to be impressed by this juvenile crap?

I'm sure these guys never get laid but they've got an agenda to tell the world how hip they are (especially Holmes) to validate their empty, pathetic lives.

And if you listen to sports radio to be cool then you've got major issue pal.

That's not what you said. What you said was:

"If they were so f'n cool they wouldn't be radio broadcasters."

Which implies that radio broadcasters are not cool. And I'm wondering, if that is the case, then why are you listening to them? Wouldn't that make you less cool than they are?

As an uncool guy I like to live vicariously through the hosts.

The hosts are not funny either. That doesnt make us unfunny for listening. It's irrelevant to the discussion whether they're cool (which they aren't). Doenst say anything about the listeners though. They may be bad dressers too, but that doesn't make the listeners bad dressers for listening to them.

Those uncool dorks are trying wayyyy to hard to make people think they're cool. Which is why they are so uncool. Nerds! (just like most of you people)

What's wrong with radio hosts talking about their drunk experiences? I don't think they're trying to be cool. I think they're simply talking about themselves doing guy things. Drinking and women would certainly fit into that category.

Sorry ChiFan44 - Then you must also belong to that private club of "those who need to talk about it the most are getting it the least." Say hello to ME AND Z for us at your next Sausage Fest gathering.

Hell yeah. Finally someone that agrees with me that I don't give a F about how much pussy these losers [claim to] get.

Me and Z were the masters of "the more we talk about getting laid the more people might actually believe us" crap. I heard Zaidman do the same thing, along with the rest of the younger guys on the weekends at the Score (although some 1000 guys like Carm and Silvy during their non-steady gf days did the same).

Their big mouths not only sound foolish to me, but imagine what kind of loser trailer trash broad would be impressed by that kind of talk? Especially once they got to see what those guys look like! But hey, even Paula Jones and Tammy Fay Baker and obese girls need loving too - who am I to judge?!

Why would they even consider those dopes when she could have this?

Actually, this discussion began with the implication that hosts are not cool and if they were they'd be doing something else. Read the first post.

The "bad dresser" theory is so stupid you should be embarrassed. Clothing has nothing to do with personality and the analogy you used doesn't even make sense. Of course, listening to a bad dresser doesn't make you a bad dresser. The issue isn't about how the hosts dress, but of the content. If you are entertained by a particular kind of person, that says something about your personality.

I'm in a hurry; almost all radio guys are bad dressers. That's why they're on the radio. See a "Les Grobstein" photo somewhere.
