what are they going to when football season is over with Hampton? Holmes obviously covers most sports, but what do they do with the Bear? Do they bring in Stone for a daily show up till baseball season? Do they bring in [shudder] Jesse? Do they do the smart thing and bring in either George/hire Fred back/hire the grobber?

The H&H show was a very tough listen,

LH's attempts at intellectual angles for new topics combined with Hamptons semi stuttering never put these 2 ont he same page.

The thought, age, personality, race and background differences of these 2 never worked.

I commend Mr. Rosen for trying the combination as opposites are not the worst thing for a radio show, but this one didnt work.

The real question is will Rosen let this show just die on the vine as he has with so many.

I always thought the plan was that Dan watches and is familiar with all the other sports besides football and the show will continue as is even after football season is over. Has anyone heard something different?

Hearing Hampton talk basketball is akin to listening to a 7th grader discuss quantum physics. Plus stuttering. It has got to the point where Hampton throws in enough colloquialisms that he makes it through football discussions without too much verbal filler. But after football, it's a wasteland with him. Webby, I love you but they took my least favorite host and paired him with a ex-athlete who never should be in radio or should have been in the first place...

A-a-and again, f-f-first and foremost, I-I-I do believe the show stays as is for the foreseeable future.

Larry - That's really, really interesting, Hamp. That's such a great point, ninety-nine. I agree. I think we're great. You're great. I'm great. The listeners are great. They love us. We love them. Every thing is great. I don't even notice your stutter anymore. I'm used to it. So are the listeners. That's how far we've come. Hey Hamp, let's make the pulse about race today. Listeners, today the pulse will be different. It's anything you want to talk about. That hasn't changed. But it has to be anything you want to talk about on the subject of "race". Do you get it? Do you understand what I'm saying? Probably not. I'll explain it 10 more times before "The Pulse" starts so don't worry. I think, together, during this edition of "The Pulse", we can solve racism. We can eliminate it.

i wish i could hear grobber on overnight radio...
nothing like some late night Les. I like Bobby V's show saturday nights, but the Grobber could keep me up until 3am on a Tuesday.

damnit...I wish I was 24 still.

It would be much cooler if I was Hiro Nakamura.
