Fans, while the local college hoops landscape appears to be very bleak again this winter, Chicago sports fans can rely on 670 "The SCORE" this March for every single game of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. According to ChicagolandRadioandMedia.com, WSCR will broadcast every single game of the tournament via Westwood One & the NCAA Radio Network, leading up to the Final Four & the National Championship game at Ford Field in Detroit. Maybe it's just been too much Neil Funk in my life, but I find basketball on the radio to be brutal. I sincerely hope I don't have to be driving anywhere during NIT season. |

You do have a valid point concerning 4 games at once, but the way Westwood One does it, their studio host in New York is like an air traffic controller for the first weekend of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. He'll send listeners to several different games for little pieces at a time after everyone gets the same game at the start of the day, similar to what CBS Sports does on the TV side...They keep doing it until the games go final, one by one... |

Not gonna be a lot of Boers & Bernstein in March between early-round NCAAs and the 50 katillion White Sox spring traniing games that nobody cares about. I hope they're at least on enough to do the Tournament of Bad. And no, Shark, that was precisely the opposite of a valid point about four games at once. That was a joke about four games at once. |
