I generally listen to AM-1000 more often versus 670, but I find the Sunday football show with Carmen, Mongo, Levy, etc. to be a bit boring. Is it just me?

After the stupid handicap segment at 10 this morning, I thought Fred and Hub had the better show (or segment). That probably doesn't say much.

I dislike all the pre-game shows because that's all they are: pre game. Nothing of substance is given. They're just repeats of the post-game from the last game, so why hear it twice? It wasn't that good the first time anyway. I go for the TV pregames for a half-hour of visual stimulation. How about Bears radio 780? 3 hours of pregame AND 3 hours of postgame = 6 hours of hot air on a 3 hour game!

Neither. But OB & Doug are absolutely mandatory.

Doug and OB are consistantly one of the best listens on the Score. Maybe the best example of what the Score used to be. Two regular guys talking sports with sports fans. I'll never understand why Doug takes so much heat on this board. This show is appointment radio. Now as far as which pre-game show would I rather listen to, that's like asking,"which leg would you like amputated?" Really no upside to either.

I think the heat on Doug was for his role as a co-host or sidekick with North (as the "Wise Guys"), Telander, and Mulligan. To many people, he seemed asleep and unenthused.

I agree, Sundays with OB is can't miss. But I'll pass on any afternoon show in which Doug is a co-host.

Always listen to the ESPN 1000 one.

Win, lose or draw

Anyone remember draws other than that hobo Atlanta game in Pittsburg?
