Michelle Tafoya said the Arizona Cardinal fans were excited for their upcoming playoff game against Atlanta. She said they were fired up for the game because the team hasn't hosted, let alone been in, a playoff game in a long time.

This from the ESPN website:
Arizona Gets Another Blackout deadline extension

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The NFL has granted a second, final 24-hour extension of its television blackout deadline for the Arizona Cardinals' wild card playoff game against Atlanta on Saturday.

The team has until 2:30 p.m. on Friday to sell its remaining tickets. A sellout crowd is necessary for the NFL to lift its blackout of the home television market.

The NFL had already extended the deadline 24 hours to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. In a news release, the team said 3,700 tickets remained.

"Based on the activity we've seen the last couple of days and particularly in the last 24 hours, we're very optimistic that this extension will get us where we need to be," said Ron Minegar, the Cardinals executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Yeah, they are besides themselves waiting for this game. Way to do some homework on the topic, Michelle. They couldn't sell out the game for the regular deadline and need an extension to do it. That's pretty sad.

Why don't the Cardinals buy the remaining tickets and give them to some sort of children's charity? The game would get on TV and the team would get some good PR. Problem solved.

The jokes that you hear about the McCaskeys being penny pinchers? They were originally written about the Bidwills.

The cost of the Cardinals buying these tickets will be far less than the damage the franchise will receive if this game doesn't get on TV in the local market.

Same thing happening in Minnesota...heard on ESPN how something like only 55 percent of season ticket holders picked up their option for playoff tickets...methinks that's not a good sign...

You might think the Bidwells would make more money at the LA Colosseum, or Salt Lake City, or Portland. Why AZ?

As for Michelle, lol, you listened to her, so that's your reward...

Maybe they only have 45,000 fans. The rest are too old to know what is going on.

Fans of the Cards and Vikings probably don't want to pay to see their teams go "one and done".

I don't think the teams are allowed to purchase the remaining tickets.
