Ok, someone needs to sit Jen down and teach her that 138 minutes is not over 3 hours, she said this 3 times today, she also thinks 95 minutes is over two hours. She also said all show that the bulls were on comcast tonight, no, they are not and I realize she is reading what they give her, but little ms. know all things sports needs to proof her work.

Pappy really brings this show down, I mean in such a bad way, that I amost feel bad for him, but then I remember how he is the most talented multi media star in this city and I get over it.

If the show starts to have a flow at any point, its killed by a sponser read by mike, who reds them way to fast and is starting to have jen disease and stumble through them.

The name of the show should be "trainwreck in the morning" because thats what it been and to those who keep saying, "its new", "they need time", I will say what I have said before, both of them have had their own tv gigs before, there is no excuse for the suckfest that this show is.

Corno should be worried about his job for putting this crap on the air. This show won't last very long and he better hope it doesn't cost Comcast very much or he'll be the one packing his bags.

Good catch on the travel times RV. Full page graphics are a good thing. I know how you feel about Mike & Jen, but Jiggs does bring a little something to the show. They made things a little lighter today & they've even made fun of themselves a bit. I'm probably gonna be accused of being a North apoligist on the board, but I'm still giving it a chance. It does take time for some shows to develop.

Jeff,

I typed it on the first day, Jigs is a pro, I like him and put him on with anyone else, the show has something. Actually, Jigs is getting more air time then I thought and he does well with the time he gets for the most part.

I've watched some, and it's far from a trainwreck. I'll agree that the commercial reads don't translate well to tv and need to be toned down. Find another way to convince me to go to Rosemont. They need to worry about building a product here rather than selling ad space and creating for awkward returns from break.

With that said, it may change in a little bit but I think that the show is better right now than any other morning option. It would benefit greatly from an actual producer but I'll take this over Mike and Mike.

Unfortunately, I don't think the show will fix it's problems until they bring in an experienced producer. I actually think this could be a very good show if they did.

The show is getting better....Still bad, but you can see gradual improvements in my opinion....Won't surprise me if some radio station (maybe 105.9???) in the future picks the show up if they get their act together.

I DVR'd the Tuesday show and watched about 2 hours of it. Not as bad as what I've heard. But the weather/traffic/sports updates from Jen are, in fact, horrible. Not only does she need to go, but the update desk doesn't seem to fit in with this format...at least not the way it's being done. The intro is bad, the ad reads by Mike were bad and too numerous. Mike's sports commentary was bad but at least it was sports...plus Jiggets was there to keep it on track as much as possible. I still like Jiggets...wish he was still on the radio. Personally, I don't enjoy Mike's tangents that he goes off on and I don't think they're even remotely funny (the overturned truck filled w/cheese, DUI photos, the two female interns, the guy interns, constantly interrupting everyone to be funny but not succeeding...). They happen so often and for such extended periods of time and I know damn well he'll never stop doing it. Despite what people say about the show being new and needing to work out the kinks...from what I've seen/heard from Mike North in the past I don't believe he'll change one thing about this show. If I tune in 6 months from now, assuming it's still on, I expect to see the same exact thing I saw yesterday, just even more of the shit I don't like. And that's why I won't be watching this show. It's not unwatchable, there's just no reason to watch.

Also, another nice shirt for Northy today, something like this....

I don't think North has 'felt' music since Connie Francis was popular.

I know either Bebe or Jen is dressing North, but these shirts really have to go. You are supposed to be "A regular guy", he should be wearing a jersey everyday supporting any Chicago team. Im sure he could work out a sponsorship deal with a sports store (Ex:Triple Threat Sports) where they loan him a Jersey to wear on the show, and he plugs the store on the air. These affliction shirts look douchey on twenty-somethings who wear them, fifty-somethings just look stupid in them.

Not unwatchable? You'll never get those minutes back ever again. Think about that.

After watching Monday's show off and on for the first half hour, I wasn't very impressed. I didn't watch/listen to any of it yesterday. I was able to tune in for a few minutes this morning and was happy to hear some sports discussion, so from that standpoint, things were better.

For anyone who has watched all three days, has there been much improvement overall? I know Jen's weather updates blow and the production sucks. Are they able to stick to sports for the most part?
