when will the score dump this show ? seems like a no brainer if and when the score signs danny mac. please don't pair mac with loho. loho should be 86ed with hampton. let's see what kind of market there is for loho. i'm guessing he couldn't get a media job in chicago if the score let him go.

Lawrence Holms is a radio professional.

He needs not your sympathy.

This show is in countdown.

Holmes is just a Bernstein imitator. He's got Bernstein down right to the inflection and pattern.

About week 12 of the NFL season some caller is talking about a possible wild card from the NFC North. Holmes puts him down with an incredulous: "There's... not going to be a ...wild card from the... North... this year", and cuts him off.

There wasn't, but nearly was, a North wild card. Holmes disagreed and did a Bernstein on him. But Bernstein, who I like, does it better and he did it first.

That, along with his Telander way of trying to find meaning in stupid little things, makes him a bad listen.

And Hampton offers nothing but old school bitterness schtik. Okay Dan, I believe you, they used to be tougher, smarter, practiced harder, made less, cared more, etc. You got anything else?

This show will go away, but not quickly. It's the same as sports, right? There's contracts and then there's who do you replace them with. I think even the Bull and the Bear lasted a year.

Not even close to having Bernsie down and however you slice it, it is bad bad bad.

Not to defend Hampton, because I don't think he's a very good host, but that pretty much sums up the Buffone & O'B Bears postgame show and people seem to love it when they say it.

Yeah, you have to be in the mood for Doug & OB, which is "aw crap, the Bears just lost!" Five days of that shtick year-round would wear me out.

Doug and OB are better hosts than Hampton, too.

Doug is a great story-teller.
