I know this is old news, but I was just thinking about this. I was listening to Jason Goff & Matt Weber (I think) & they were just taking callers blindly and asking them: "What do you want, the show's over". There must have been a problem with SNR or something because they went 15 after the show was supposed to end. The callers just blurted out B&B nonsense or random questions. It was pretty damn funny and off the cuff. Did anybody else hear this? I almost drove off the road.

I listened to the beginning of Jason Goff's show after DePaul's loss to Cincinnati last Saturday afternoon, and he put a big smile on my face. Jason was talking a great deal about what we miss about sports these days at the start of the show. It was a really good departure from endless, tiresome sports talk about a Bulls' team that appears to have already quit on rookie head coach Vinny Del Negro, the fact that local college basketball really sucks and isn't much better, etc. I know Jason & Matt Weber did that "Man's World" segment following the 7:30p sports update, but I didn't hear the babble that kept Jason & Matt on the air beyond 8p. Speaking of those guys, checking out the schedule at 670thescore.com, I noticed Matt is actually hosting a show following DePaul's likely latest loss tomorrow in Milwaukee vs. Marquette around 4p, with him & John "Rock" Mamola penciled in starting at about 5p Sunday. As for Jason, he's scheduled to hold court come 9a Sunday morning until 12Noon, followed by a Big Ten Basketball game via Westwood One.

Thanks for listening Eaglo...yeah Jason and I get really goofy together. I'm hoping they'll allow us to host together more often. Actual friends hosting a show together in this town is pretty rare.

Webby, you & Jason deserve a thumbs up from me as well. If it were up to me, I'd try to get more opportunities for you guys, plus Matt Abbatacola, to host local sports talk on 670 "The SCORE". I'm not sure they've given you much of an opportunity to get behind the mike, but it was a nice change of pace & something different. Besides, I think it's safe to say that when "Man's World" or "Grandma Trivia" hit the air, it's definitely unplugging it big time! Nicely done, Webby.
