You had a good run in chicago, but it's over. The sooner you face up to it, the more money you will save. This is not a good show. I could point out a few things here, but that would leave 100 other things. Look at this as some friendly advice, to plan your exit strategy now and start implementing it. I give you credit for trying and convincing another Chicago media members that not only should you be given a chance , but you should be running the show. The latter point always confuses the shit out of me, because it is the absolute worse thing you do, yet people still let you do it. Then everyone looks around when it fails. Just let some radio station somwhere, give you an offer to be on the air with some old news guy they gave a deal to and enjoy your old age and affliction T shirts. If Jen is nearly as talented as you think she will have a really good job in a second, so you don't need to worry about her, even though I think she will be back to waiting tables. I am not sure if this CEO of Next Step has a hardon for you or what but they seem to be the only sponsor that bought more than a few time slots and it sure doesn't look like it is picking up. Pretty soon the media vultures who sidestepped the obvious easy kills will return and hang you out to dry as failure, so why not cut the losses and move on. |
