they are arguing about the superbowl winner. jiggs has steelers, north has cards.
now we all remember how north was claiming he was a great football handicapper, so great that people should pay him $250/a MONTH just to get his picks. he was the honest handicapper.
In the column he is picking the cards to win because he and bebe like the actual bird (cardinal) anf have a cardinal on their license plate. he goes on to say that nobody can pick the nfl because it is so unpredictable. this really shows what an absolute sell out, piece of shit tha north has become. 6 months ago he was fufilling a life long dream and since he couldn't sucker enough of his so called fans into giving him $$$, he now makes picks based on your favorite bird. like most of the people on theis board know, he would sell out anybody to make a $ or get his name in the news. The suntimes deserves to go out of business for having this scum taking up space every week.

I know that Mike has a history of "going contrarion" so it doesn't shock me that he's "picking the Cardinals." Mike, good arguements are based in fact. If you HAD ALL THE STATS then why not use them??? Where are the 10 good reasons??? Instead, he takes the path of least resistance and essentially cops out. Mike's arguement now becomes "because the NFL is so unpredictable, making a well-reasoned pick is a waste of time."

I believe that people on this board could make a more compelling arguement for the Cardinals winning than Mike North. This is proof positive that when Mike grabs the spotlight he mails it in. It's unfortunate too. I'll bet there are lots of folks who'd love to have an opportunity to write an opinion column for a major newspaper. Instead, the honor goes to Mr. Affliction himself.

I agree. As much as anything, this shows what a totally worthless asshole this guy is. A few months ago, he had the numbers, he had the analysis, he had the smarts to make picks worthy of your hard-earned money; today, nobody can pick the NFL.

The sooner this Comcast show goes down the shitter, the happier I'll be.

did north have enough balls to put money on the cards plus the 7? i doubt it.
