This morning, while talking Hawks v. Edmonton, North compared the Oilers to the Bulls. He said, "People says what happened to da bulls? I says 'Jordan retired'. What has Edmonton done since Gretzky left?" Hmmmm...Well, they WON the fucking Stanley Cup in 1990, and took Carolina to a 7th game in the '96 Finals dumb ass. I'm no where near the hockey maven that guys like Slappy, Stink, or Puckhead are, but even I knew this. Every time North opens his mouth, he pukes up some more stupdity. Not to let Jiggs off the hook, his answer to Mike's querie was, "Not much, my friend." BTW, Jen looked like she was wearing a friggin straight jacket this morning. |

I think we should set up a Mike North ALS. It would have to have a different title though. How about: The People Who Listen to Mike North just so they Can Complain About Him Society. That should do it... RodeoVann is excepted from this Society as it is his legitimate job to listen to North every day. |

Even with Pappy messing up stuff like... oh.... the Oilers were in game 7 of the finals.... 3 SEASONS AGO...... I'm not sure it tops Murph on my drive home today, talking about the Hawks on "the circus trip" and spending most of the segment obsessing about some place called Bostons Pizza. |

As we know I am not a hockey guy but I can tell when someone is trying to seem like they are talking hockey and dont know shit. Mr. North can pull a chair up to that table anytime with the "The biggest sport in this town years ago was hockey" that he seems to break into every chance possible |
