This show is really taking off. Mancow and Cassidy are constantly playing good cop/bad cop, and although I always considered Cassidy to be somewhat conservative, he is playing the role of the staunch liberal, while the goofy "sky is falling" libertarian Mancow is assuming the role of the strict conservative.

I have permanently ditched sports radio for these two hours.

Happened upon this show when my GOP father-in-Law was watching my kid (he has 890 or WIND on ALL DAY), and it was awesome - last week he has Drew Petersen on for the first time and he yells out, "WATCH OUT - HE'S GOT A KNIFE!!!"

I was dying laughing!

Now he started a fight between Geraldo and Petersen.

Roland Burris will be on the show tomorrow (th. 02/19)

This is much better radio then when Mancow was at the rock stations because he is more focused on the issues and has an older audience that he must woo - but it is absolutely entertaining and hilarious! I can't believe 60 and 70 year olds are listening to Mancow!


wow, first you pimp the mike north disaster as a great show and now this. where is his buddy turd? oh wait, mancow is grown up so he has to change his act, thats right. he is a married man, with a kid so no more impersonating howard stern. now he will be rush limbaugh jr and he will steal from steve dahl and have on a murderer everyday to increase ratings. where are all the black helicopters ? meatball radio for meatball panther

hey meat, you really got me good on that reply. no caseload today? no frivilous lawsuit to file? or are you one of the soon to be laid off lawyers the tribune was talking about? hey at least you can watch the monsters show live instead of tivoing it. :lol:

Mancow changed his ways of having strippers and whores on his show all the time after 9/11 and honestly I think it cost him. People dont want to go to Mancow for politicial news, they wanted to live through him when they were on their way to a shit ass 9-5 job. They wanted to hear from stippers and porn stars. Maybe that what happens when you get married and have kids. Your supposed to grow up?

Its what happens when you already have a syndicated radio shock-jock porn show that still rocks in a bunch of markets outside of Chicago, and then a politics station wants you to do a show specifically dealing with politics. It seems like this was the only way to get back on in Chicago, and I think they sound great. 2 different shows for 2 different folks.

I ditched sport radio for the most part about two years ago in exchange for WLS and WIND and other syndicated talk shows off the Internet.

The 9am to 11am slot on WLS is in complete shambles now.

Yes, Mancow lands good guests, but the interviews are almost worthless, because Mancow goofs off too much by asking a few stupid questions, and then proceeds to talk so fast and so much that the guest doesn't have ample time to give any meaningful answers. Pat Cassidy makes the show somewhat ok, but the two obviously do not get along (I don't believe it's an on air act) so the bantering by Mancow on Pat gets old.

The Drew Peterson appearances are garbage because I quite frankly, don't care about him. For people who want more intelligent talk, Mancow doesn't deliver.

caught about two minutes of this...very jarring to hear Cassidy talking without a script. This alone will keep me away from the show...

I will try it again, but Cassidy sounds like your typical news update guy. Sounds like he is on some valium and is just there to be beat down by Mancow, who doesn't do the beatdown anymore.
