I understand that as a sideline reporter during broadcasts that Zach is a paid employee of the Bears, but his ass kissing of all things Jerry Angelo is getting out of hand. Listening to ZZ, one would think that we have had Scott Pioli or Bill Polian as our GM the past 6 years. ZZ is continually comparing the Bears lack of impact moves in free agency to those of New England and Pittsburgh. Here's one problem, dumb ass: those teams are able to draft efficiently and can evaluate their own talent well enough to know who to let walk in free agency and who not to. If you want anyone to take your program seriously, quit riding Angelo's nuts and have the balls to call JA out on the shitty job he has done.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what good Zach is with his access to the Bears. I find his show insulting to the listeners. I think he does a decent job on the sidelines and on the Bears beat but due to his constant sucking up, he sucks as a host.

Is it just me or is ZZ getting a great deal more airtime since the Bears' season ended? If he & Laurence Holmes aren't calling a sorry DePaul basketball game, Zach is holding court at least twice a week hosting local shows, including the Jerry Wainwright Show, on nights there's no White Sox game...What's the deal?

I personally think its a slap in the face to Drinky. I think Drinky is either in the Score doghouse. I think his work ethic is under question.

Spmack, I don't think Drinky is in the doghouse...I know at a recent "SCORE" remote, Matt Abbatacola mentioned that he's recently had vacation time and hasn't had much of a chance to host local sports talk. If you want your Drinky fix, he's supposed to be on Sunday afternoon around 3p, according to the 670thescore.com schedule.
