On every show today for both sports stations and even ESPN I heard so many stories of people close to Norm Van Lier and they celebrated the mans life! From Doug Buffone to Artis Gilmore, to Rudy Malnati, to Kendall Gill. Not one of them gave this "I was so close to him I can barely function" Bullshit! While each and everyone of them expressed the true sincere sadness, they quickly were brought out of it, by the thought of Norm doing something or saying something.

Each of the people I mentioned above are much closer to Norm than Larry was.

And the "Goodbye to you" song being played in the background by Scandal was not only tasteless and bad, but Norm would have put a huge foot up your ass if he knew that was played for him and you said "that was a a great open". Blech!

If you really felt that close to the guy and knew him so much, you know he would have preferred 'Sympathy for the Devil" or "It's over now" or "The Last Time"

Just like B&B are starting the show NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Fake!

Did Larry really play the "I was so close to him I can barely function" thing? That sounds like him.

I'll bet he hasn't seen or talked to Norm in years. But he's gonna play the "grieving friend" role cuz he thinks it will tug at hearts. Larry has always been a phony.

What's more ridiculous, Holmes' on air or posters here using the deaths of these two men and the way Holmes reacted to further their attacks on Holmes?

Had he been glib about it you'd have ripped him, too.

Jason Goff makes a reference to an unnamed person (or people) who he thinks were faking it and that bolsters your argument that Holmes was overacting? You're reaching.

OOgie, you are such a complete asshat that I shouldn't even respond to you.

However, I assure you that I am not LHolmes, nor am I a mult of anyone else on this board.

Do you think that using multiple exclamation marks makes your statement more true?
