I've been noticing that whoever plays the music when they cut to commercial knows some rockin music. I usually hear alot of alkaline trio, but today I do believe I just heard myself some Lawrence Arms as well. Nothing wrong with hearing some good chicago music that otherwise would never make it on the radio.

I appreciate you noticing my choice of music. I play my favorite bands, and I try to play stuff that no other radio stations play. I'm also glad to run into another Lawrence Arms fan. Fantastic!

I did not see that show but I've probably seen TLA over 30 times. One of my favorite bands. They need to come out with a new record. It's been awhile.

Do the Lawrence Arms still "number" their shows? The first one I attended was something like #27, at the Fireside Bowl. They've got to be pushing 1,000 by now, if not well over.

I saw them 3 times in the last yr and a half and I don't remember them numbering any of them.

I wonder when they stopped. BK would say something at the start of every show (that I saw them, which was often enough) like "We are the Lawrence Arms and this is show number ##."

I'm surprised you get to play cool music for the show. The bumpers on B&B got kinda lame about a year or so ago. Too much AC/DC, by which I mean any at all.

well maybe they still do because I can only understand about half of what BK says if i'm lucky and then it also depends on how many beers he has had or I have had.

Every TLA show I've been to Brendan says the #. Well over like 900 now. It's excellent. I haven't seen them in ahile though (a year). Do they have plans to come out with a new record. It's been like 3 years!!!
