No. I would've liked to have heard Les with Chet. That would be a hoot!

Boom-boom is going to be an early fatality, I think. Chet said something yesterday about "if we do this next week, we'll both be working as plumbers." Funny, 'cause yesterday, he lapsed into running show as a single host, then apologized to Mancini (who indeed laughs quite often).

Let's see, Webby and Freddy sounds like it will blend well in a little time. Hood's cohost didn't sound too stuttery yesterday. Turned them off to do a meeting (by which time, Chet and Mancini were on)

No. Webby has been good. I've heard him before and he was always too "shouty". He yelled everything. I don't know if it's because Fred is a bit of a calmer presence that he doesn't feel the need or what but the show has been very good.

It takes some work for me to jump through our firewall to get to ESPN so I've listened a bit more than I planned to and I agree with Beebo's assessment.

North has some potential here. It does feel a bit like the early days of the Score with new voices and no affiliation to any sports teams - also more discussion and less condescension. But, there are serious problems also, not the least of which is the 3pm show.

I'll be interested to see if Pappy is quick to identify the missteps and pull the trigger on changes. From what I've seen in the past, he hasn't been. Chet and Mancini are certainly big names but they aren't suited for this. Chet and Grobber would be better but I think half that duo, at least, has to be younger.

I have a feeling Pappy is too stubborn to make the changes that will be necessary and it may doom them.
