Hello David,
I have a couple of serious questions for you.
1 - In light of the recent disclosure that
Webio only had $2,300 in total revenue -
What were their advertising rates?
I don't think it would be inappropriate for you
to answer because the Webio no longer exists.
I wouldn't ask you for information on the Score's
rates because that would be proprietary information.
2 - I know you said that you never received an
invoice from Webio, and I believe that because MN
stated that invoices did not get sent out. I also believe
that you would have paid if invoiced, or will pay if
required by the SEC.
That said, was the advertising that you purchased
included in the $2,300 total?
Thank you

Good questions. I'd love to see Mr. Spada answer them.

I don't think David Spada is the bad guy that many people paint him to be.
I have a feeling that he is going to give us his answers.

so you were buying 120+ spots for $1000. How were they every going to make money?

the whole plan was so flawed even a vegetable could see it. North couldn't, so I guess that means vegetables are smarter than North.

How does this compare with what the Score and MVP charge?

CSWebio was running 12 hours per day - I assume your commercials would have run during Monsters. That's 60 commercials per week - between 240 - 264 commercials in the month. So you were essentially paying $4.00 to $5.00 per spot. Unfortunately, I think that worked out to about $1 per listener.

I will throw some props out there to Spada - as his show is better than Salisbury & Rosenbloom, Coppock & Mancini, and Hampton & Holmes. Yes, I've listened a few times.

Celebrity DUI of the Day? So you planned to sponsor a segment devoted to reckless endangerment? What if the celebrity DUI turned out to be vehicular manslaughter? Donte Stallworth, Celebrity DUI of the Day, brought to you by Attorney David Spada.

Why is it so important to you to carry water for Spada, Sarley? I don't think anyone here has implied that he's a criminal. He could even be a good guy, for all I know. But many here—myself included—believe he takes advantage of the forum to self-promote and, well, that his character is already in doubt b/c of how he makes his living. You think sponsoring a Celebrity DUI of the Day is indicative of someone with sound judgment or class?

Maybe he should have had a "b-list celebrity solicitation" spot on the website. Could have reached back a few years for the first one.

Relax, DUI is a victimless crime. Atleast thats what Mike North told me.

A study done by Michigan State University could also see it:

"In the euphoria over rapidly improving Internet and multimedia delivery technologies
in the late 1990's, webcasting was touted by many as a technology that would
revolutionize the entertainment world, and it was forecast that audio webcasting services
would soon be a major threat to over-the-air radio stations. The actual experience has
fallen considerably short of these optimistic projections. Although audience size has
increased significantly, advertisers have not embraced this new medium as anticipated.
Furthermore, while costs have declined remarkably, they are not near low enough for
profitability given the ad revenues the new services have been generating, or can
expected to generate for at least the near future. Partly as a result, thousands of Internet
radio stations have gone off-line since April 2001, including both top stations and
unheard-of small webcasters."

And all these idiots followed North, the pied-piper, into this just because HE said it would work. Idiots, all of them. Pure and simple idiots.

You're right, I was using 6 hours a day, I don't know why.

How in the hell does sponsoring a celebrity DUI of the day in any way help your legal clients in Traffic Court?
You owe your clients a duty...and one of those duties would seem not to put targets on their backs with some second career as a Mike North type clown.
I'm sure the Prosecutors and Judges would have been thrilled with this spot.

Felony DUI is not a joke.....Reckless Homicide is not laughable.
Folks charged with DUI have a serious problem and could use a lawyer portraying him/herself as a professional.

spada is an arrogant, egotistical, asswipe who thinks that because he is friends with a retired football player, he should be given a sports talk show. and the celebrity dui of the week idea shows people how really stupid spada is. i want to hear his answer as to why that would be a good segment for a company to sponsor.

I dont know him or ever plan on meeting him, but perception is reality.

Spada is a dirtball plain and simple.

You'd think being a lawyer, he'd know when to shut up. DUI of the week?
