per mitch.. I'm pleased to announce that Chris Rongey has been hired to handle the pre and post-game for the upcoming White Sox season. Chris has done a great job here at the Score, and I look forward to hearing him on the broadcast! Congrats to Rongey! |

That noise you heard is the collective sigh of relief from White Sox fans that Jesse did not get the job. Rongey should be fine but it is not a move that will make me quickly turn to the station. Hood would have really been the person best suited for that job. He really screwed the pooch with his Telander power play. |

I hope this is true...The prospect of a Jesse experience made me cringe. |

Maybe Rongey will be good, I don't know. I'm just glad it's not The Moron. |

OG, do you have to post in every thread when it's not even one about you? Maybe you should spend this time brushing up your resume rather than arguing like a child under "guest" so often. |

All I can say is that the OG will be on the radio tonight and you will be home listening Sorry, I try not to listen to smug, uninteresting, garbage radio and especially don't care about Bulls pre or post game coverage. Heck, the games themselves aren't even worth watching. OG, it's really pathetic how you try to say everyone is "Jealous" of your crap radio gig. If it's such a great job then why do you care what some people on a message board say. Shouldn't you be above us where you don't care what us "non-radio peons" have to say? Your continued posts just show how jealous YOU are of both your co-workers and the rest of us that we are actually happy with our lives. Have fun with your life and give it up, you pud. |

I know Rongy is from St louis and probrally grew up a cardinals fan. But before he got this job did he ever say if he liked the cubs or sox. Or both. It really doesn't matter to me if he does a good job but I was just wondering |

Rongey is a sign of relief for Sox fans. Many must be glad it's not Jessie. Another person who I'm surprised didn't get mentioned more was Steve Olken, since he use to do it on AM-1000 years ago. Perhaps he is needed at home at night for his children, and that prevented him from being a serious consideration. I don't know. Congrats to Rongey though, I'm happy for him. |

Good stuff, anything other than Jessie was fine with me, with the small selection from the Score, I was expecting Holmes, but I like Rongey |

Not only at night, but it was also reported that Farmer was rather adamant about the analyst "on the team plane" implying that he should go when and where the team goes. This is also believed (or claimed) to be a major reason why North stopped campaigning because his show a matter of top priority for. |

Shit, I'll take $1.7M to sit there and go, "A black guy can get away wit dat, but if a white guy sez da same ting, he's fired. Hey, have you heard about my new CD?" |

Actually it was mentioned by David Schuster this morning when he was on with Olken around 9 a.m. or so. I highly doubt he would have said a word about it, if it was true, as well as Bernsie talking about it this afternoon. Looks like our "insiders" are a little slow on this one. |
