The OG is an outstanding host. Did you hear him this morning with Levine? This man knows Cubs baseball inside and out. He needs to be on in the mid mornings instead of Silvy and Carm.

Don't be mad because the OG is an outstanding host in the 3rd biggest market in the country. If you're a former SNR guy, you should know how foolish it was for SNR to let him go. But it all works for the best. The OG is making radio magic at WMVP ! What a finish in the Alamo Bowl.

Haven't you had enough yet? The only accurate statement in your post is that you work in the 3rd biggest market in the country. BFD! SNR made the right decision by letting you go. You wore out your welcome there. The reasons have been discussed in other threads. If you'd like OG, I'll re-hash them. And, no, it had nothing to do with money.

The OG left because SNR wouldn't pony up more money. The OG is worth far more than what they were offering. If a no talent hack producer, which I'm assuming that you were, makes 25K, the OG is worth at least six figures. I'm sure he makes close to that for a real station like ESPN 1000!

You asked for it. You did not leave SNR - you were asked to leave. The reasons:

1. Making personal calls which caused you to miss an update [that was posted already]

2. You badmouthed other hosts, telling anyone who would listen you were better than them and deserved a daily show.

3. You badmouthed management and they found out about it.

The poster who laid out the reasons for Mike's departure from SNR was 100% correct. It was NEVER about money, and Mike, stop trying to cover your ass. People make mistakes like you did and learn from them. However, it seems like you haven't learned. By doing what you're doing, and now lying about a meeting with your former boss, you are burning more bridges than you can imagine. Congrats.

I'm not the OG. Although I do wish I was him at times. Especially when it comes to his unparrelled knowledge of the Cubbies. The man who runs SNR didn't want to pay him what he deserves. So the OG packed up his suitcase and left. That's what talented people can do. It's not like he was a talentless producer who gets canned and can be easily replaced by some kid. Peace !

The OG doesn't even like the Bulls that much and he pulls off an electric pre and post show. If he ever goes to WGN and takes that hack Andy Maizer's job , WATCH OUT!!

I can't tell you how I know this, but Ogulnick reads the message boards and posts religiously. This is a fact that cannot be disputed. Also, his brother posts as well...possibly even more than Ogulnick himself. I'm sure there's other family members in the mix too, but that I don't know for sure.

Either way, everyone out there should know that all the crap said about Ogulnick is 100% true. He rips all the other hosts at ESPN (behind their backs of course) and he truly believes he is god's gift to radio.

Yes, he's on in Chicago...a pretty big market as we all know. But, he is certainly not making a lot of money and will certainly be gone shortly after the Bulls conclude their dismal season.

Any friend or family member can come on this board and tell us this stuff is all crap. But, I promise you it isn't. There has not been one inaccurate statement made about him on this board. Ogulnick, to put it mildly, is a douche bag.

Do you really think, if he's trying to hide who he is, that he would be so obvious as to post under "Big Red" or mention his politics, knowing that everyone who listens to him knows he's a Nebraska fan and a liberal?

Yes I do OG's brother. I think he secretly wants us to know its him. He just wants to leave some what of a mystery. He fears the abuse he will take at the station. This way he can post without MJH and others getting on him. He can just deny it when they call him on it. OG's is obsessed with this board. He should be smart enough to know that his posts only add fuel to the fire. But I guess he is not that smart.
