A caller said MacDougal was never a big league pitcher and the Ranger said he was. Wasn't Murph (miss a little miss a lot ) The same ass that called Jaques Jones a bum and Stone Pony took him to the pummell horse? |

I believe so, Walt...I only heard a little bit of what the caller on the White Sox postgame told the Ranger, and based on what I heard briefly, Mike MacDougal had a good ERA when he closed for the Royals before he got hurt and then got dealt to the White Sox, where he really had control issues & couldn't find the strike zone when he was called upon. If Murph was defending anyone, he was defending the Ranger for taking that call. |
