ARE YOU WATCHING FAMILY GUY?!?! (she hates family guy). I chuckled and said no... but a few seconds later she pipes back in... ARE YOU LYING?

She walked in to check and saw Mike North spitting some nonsense and finished up with "IS THAT HIS REAL VOICE????? THAT'S AWFUL"

Funny you mention it because my fiance hates North's voice too. Last night I turned the tv off with Comcast on and when I turned it on this morning Monsters was on and I wanted to hear some Bulls game talk so left it on and only after a few seconds she woke up and asked me to turn it off right away because his voice makes her sick and pisses her off. "why does he sound like that" "he talks like a complete douche" are some of the comments she made this morning.

I've always thought he sounds like a man on the verge of vomiting with every statement he makes.

W_Z... to be honest, I don't watch Family Guy anymore. My wife LIVES on TBS, so chances are when I turn a TV on, I will run in to Family Guy. I don't like the new ones as much, but if I catch one of the classics (Season 1-3), I'll definitely tune in.


As for MITM, I'm a casual fan. I don't 'hate' North, as I wasn't over-exposed to his radio show. Generally, in the AM I will leave their show on mute and tune in to Mully & Hanley, and if I see North has someone I'd like to hear I'll switch over. I wouldn't call myself a 'fan,' but I definitely don't hate the show. At the same time, I can't blame people who think the show sucks. I won't defend it.

That's hilarious, my wife said something like "why if he has such a goddamn awful voice does he insist on using it at full volume?"

Chris, that's particularly funny to me because, until I actually saw Mike North, I always pictured Peter Griffin talking when I heard North's show, which actually made it tolerable now and then.
