That's pretty funny Chris.I don't know if its because he's on TV and he feels a need to yell more, but Mike's voice has gotten more meatball-ish if that's possible.

Woke up a little late today, and am in my office doing some work. I had the door open and was talking to her, and suddenly she stops and yells... ARE YOU WATCHING FAMILY GUY?!?! (she hates family guy). I chuckled and said no... but a few seconds later she pipes back in... ARE YOU LYING? She walked in to check and saw Mike North spitting some nonsense and finished up with "IS THAT HIS REAL VOICE????? THAT'S AWFUL" Good way to start the weekend. |

Funny you mention it because my fiance hates North's voice too. Last night I turned the tv off with Comcast on and when I turned it on this morning Monsters was on and I wanted to hear some Bulls game talk so left it on and only after a few seconds she woke up and asked me to turn it off right away because his voice makes her sick and pisses her off. "why does he sound like that" "he talks like a complete douche" are some of the comments she made this morning. |

My wife just calls him "the screaming guy". Which I totally agree with. The guy sounds like he's talking to you at a metal concert.

Yo Chris in Charles - your wife says the same thing to me. EOM. =-=-= Good one. W_Z... to be honest, I don't watch Family Guy anymore. My wife LIVES on TBS, so chances are when I turn a TV on, I will run in to Family Guy. I don't like the new ones as much, but if I catch one of the classics (Season 1-3), I'll definitely tune in. As for MITM, I'm a casual fan. I don't 'hate' North, as I wasn't over-exposed to his radio show. Generally, in the AM I will leave their show on mute and tune in to Mully & Hanley, and if I see North has someone I'd like to hear I'll switch over. I wouldn't call myself a 'fan,' but I definitely don't hate the show. At the same time, I can't blame people who think the show sucks. I won't defend it. |

Two things... 1. Family Guy is one of the greatest shows in TV history. It would probably rank in my top 5, with the Honeymooners being #1. 2. A lot of you guys are watching MITM. |

Chris, that's particularly funny to me because, until I actually saw Mike North, I always pictured Peter Griffin talking when I heard North's show, which actually made it tolerable now and then. Ah, to be that young and ignorant again .... okay, that young again. |
