They both were off last week (okay these 2 are ALWAYS A BIT OFF) but both being off is really unusual. A whole week with both gone is really different.

Especially since they brought in an outsider for the week. In the past they'd have Dean Richards or Nick Digilio fill in or maybe another news person.

Randy Miller, radio star from Kansas City is someone who WGN has called a few times now to pinch hit for the regular hosts, when necessary. WGN is looking to make some changes to the station, in hopes of attracting a younger audience. Kathy and Judy, as far as radio goes, are fossils and should be removed, in my opinion. Miller could be someone that WGN is considering on bringing in. Even if not, the days of the old fashioned WGN are gone. The new program director as of late, has brought in Bruce Wolf to fill in on various shows, hired former WLS conservative host Jerry Agar to host weekends (WGN never has a pure political guy on with such a strong opinion), and recently hired Garry Meier for afternoons. Pet Central, Technology Taylor and one other weekend specialty show is now extinct. The old WGN Radio is gone.
