It's time to keep a record of some of the bullshit this dumbass says on a daily basis.

5-12-09

'Tyler Flowers will never make an opening day roster for the Chicago White Sox'.

Thats a stupid thing to say about anybody. Good or bad as Flowers may be, an injury or suspension or something may dictate him on the opening day roster.

If a dumbass says something and no one is listening, did he really say it?

Tyler Flowers will be the Sox Opening Day catcher in 2010, barring injury.

I wish the Score wouuld move Murph to 9 to midnight. His show worked better in the evening, and anything is better than SNR & the Dan Patrick crapfest!

Midnight untl 4am would be far better.

BTW, on Tuesday's show, Murph mentioned that Mully and Hanley had started using 'let the record show' and regretted that he didn't get a trademark. He then said he actually got the line from someone in the 1980s whose name I didn't catch.

To me it sounded like Murph was none to pleased with loss of one of his 'schticks'

He took it a step further today and said 'Tyler Flowers will never make it to the big leagues unless there are like 17 injuries in front of him.'

I know that this is "Boers & Bernstein's" signature segment, but who is Murph crappin'? The White Sox are high on Tyler Flowers to eventually replace Anthony John Pierzynski behind the plate in the next year or two. Pierzynski isn't getting any younger, folks...Flowers may actually be the key player in the Javy Vazquez deal the Sox made with the Braves in the offseason.

Post subject:  Re: Let the record show

He's saying it out of spite. He's angry that people are getting on his boyfriend for trading Mark DeRosa so he decided to say Kenny made a bad deal in trading Javy Vazquez. He keeps saying 'to save $10m' when it's actually $11.5m this season and $11.5 next season. But what the hell $10m sounds better and why bother letting the facts get in the way now? He's a petty little man.

I wouldn't be shocked if he is the DH/backup catcher next year.

Dye should be the full time DH next year.

He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

I remember the "Quentin hitting leadoff" thing. Just b/c the Sox don't have a legit leadoff hitter doesn't mean you ruin the top half of the batting order.

Did anyone hear Murph burry the White Sox a little over a week ago? He said because the Sox had Detroit, KC, and Minny all ahead of them, it would take weeks to catch up to first place. He mentioned how all of the teams would knock each other off and that because of this, it would be the same as being several games back of the first place team.

I'm curious to see if Murph take the same approach with his beloved Cubs, who are now in 4th place, 4.5 games back of first. Oddly enough, the Sox are now in sole possession of second place, 4 games back. Let's see if the Mustachioed Moron thinks it will take the Cubs weeks to reach first place.

If you're talking about Murph, you don't have to hear it ... you can safely assume it.

To quote myself.

Not anymore.

Not sorry to see his sorry ass tossed off of the mid-day slot. At least now I could tune in after Silvy and Waddle ends and listen to WSCR, instead of having to put up with the ESPN mothership broadcast.

I believe there should be a vote of acclimation that Murph be Tool Emeritus ad Infinitum in honor of his departure.
