I gave Mitch Rosen the opportunity to put Bearly Legal on the Score and he turned me down. Robin Earl and myself have gotten bigger guests on our web show then some of his shows draw, besides Mully and Hanley. We have had Dick Butkus, Ted Hendricks, Warren Moon, Billy Williams, Bobby Hull, Billy Pierce, Darrell Evans, Jay Hilgenberg, and Steve McMichael to name some. We have commitments from Fergie Jenkins, Ernie Banks, and Governor Quinn in the next month. Robin and I will make a major announcement in the near future about Bearly Legal. |

Counselor, Congratulations on your show. I'm sure(I hope) it is personally fulfilling and a joy for you to engage in whenever and wherever you do/"air" it. However, Robin Earl's biggest contribution to the Chicago media was as a joke on the HFC's fish fest and yours...as history may define....may be a bit south of that. He may have improved, and your (sports) voice may be one that should be heard, but it's a bit difficult to take you seriously on a site few listen to and primarily promoted by an unlikeable opportunist cur like the Webio's lead 'celebrity'. Good luck...elsewhere. |

Sounds like the smartest decision Mitch has made in awhile. Hopefully it will be followed by signing Mac soon. |

Why not get Drew Peterson on from the Will County Jail? How about his legal eagle, Brodsky, who will shit his pants when 48 perspective jurors are outside the door of the courtroom? Find out from Drew if he will hit the stand and remove all doubt! |

Tom Dreesen is usually available. How about Pat Brickhouse? Will Fritzy contribute as foreign policy expert? |

I have not heard "Bear Lee Legal" and conceptually it actually might have some merrit as a good show, but Mr. Spada I would like to have a Sports Law show, with an agent or a Lawyer that deals in the field of sports if I am going that way. I undertand the law is the law, but we all know everything has customary ways of doing things and I think a sports agent, like a Steve Zucker would be a great show. On the other hand Mitch should not be dismissing something new so quick. Maybe his infusion will be coming soon, but with the Sox games about to become equal to the Blackhawks game of years past on the Score, which is just taking time away from Bears or possible cubs playoff talk, problems could exist at $2.5 million a year for those rights. |

He probably getting better deals from the early morning syndicated shows & sporting news. Why would he care about your booking list? Deals. |

Hey douchebag. Why in gods name do you think Mitch would put your stupid ass show on the Score when you pulled all your advertising to promote Pappy's latest ego trip? Please tell me you're not that dumb |

I've never heard the show, but it is obvious that the guy is working hard at the content and the promotion. I like that in a host. |

Actually, I admire Spada. Years ago I thought about pitching a show to WSCR. Actually put in a call to Ron Gleason, got through to him due to a mistake on the part of the receptionist/secretary, and then froze when he started asking me some questions and asked if I had a tape. It takes a lot of cajones to venture into something like this. I've long thought Papi is a DB but wish Sapda all the best in this new venture. |

Maybe the brain trust is putting together an offer that makes sure they dont lose out to WLUP, then they need to send out for the Banner to hold over everyones head while they take a picture. |

You still haven't explained what kind of logic possessed you to think that Mitch would pick up your show for WSCR after you pulled all your advertising. |

Mitch was offered the show before I pulled the plug on my advertising. |

So you're then acknowledging that this is sour grapes posting on here whining that your show isn't on WSCR and giving your money to Pappy. Ok got it. I thought you had to get past 4th grade for the Juris Doctorate, but I must have been wrong. |

Baby its about loyalty. The Score is not the same. Mike North, Fred Huebner, Jesse Rogers, George O, Dan Jiggetts, Doug Buffone, OB, Dan Richman are all gone. These guys made the Score a solid station. They covered Chicago Sports while ESPN was more national. Now you have Rosen hiring/promoting people who tell the callers they are stupidif the callers don't agree with them (Boers, Bernstein, Matt, and Zack. Then you have Holmes covering for players saying their his friend they wouldn't say that (Tommy Harris). After a while you get tired of getting beaten up and avoid the bully, thats what is happening with the Score. The once loyal listeners are tuning in the other sports stations and the advertisers realize this and are leaving too. |

Northy - was offered a crapload of money, but left cause he didn't think it was a big enough crapload Fred - Left to follow Pappy George - Left to follow Pappy Jiggs has been gone a LOOOOONG time m'friend. Doug, OB, and Richman are all bit players. So where's the loyalty there? Thursday afternoon. 5:00 |

I don't know Spada but just because the guy likes North doesn't make him a DB. He is doing exactly what made the Score popular back in 92 when guys like you said it wouldn't work. Give him a break |
