I actually clicked on to the LISTEN LIVE link today, and heard a bit of Fred and "Webby". I don't know why, but I've always enjoyed Fred despite his more-than-vanilla take on things.

In any case, does anyone have any idea how many people are listening live or downloading podcasts? Seems like they have a stable of the usual suspects in terms of advertisers - but they have a decent staff, and if they're doing well they have a decent bandwidth bill, I'm wondering if the "station" is bleeding or what?

I'm assuming no one will really know, but just curious if anything has been posted about it's success (or lack thereof). I saw they popped for a home plate rotating banner at U.S. Cellular, I just have no idea how many people are making their way there.

The hosts should know the actual listener count. It's the internet. They have a daily log just like this site has. They know their average. Weber could tell us. I suspect the only way he would tell us is if it's good. Tim Bock told me that it's not his job to know the listener count. I thought that was a weird answer. What does it have to do with it being your job? Wouldn't you want to know if you were a producer? Couldn't he simply ask Jesse?

Can you tell us Webby? What does your show average? What do the other shows average?

It's new, so it's going to take time, if it's ever going to be successful.

I like the Webby and Fred show - good sports talk for 2 hours each day. Webby gives the phone/email out about 10 times an hour, and he'll read an occasional email so I'm guessing he's not getting much response, but, again, it's early, and this is really going to have to advertise.

theyre still a little ahead of their time. it wont be long though, before people's main source of internet is from their cellphone, and they can listen to online radio anywhere. all car's radios will be internet enabled, allowing anyone to tune in. internet radio will blow am radio out of existence eventually, no question about it.

Hey! They are offering April Rose. Maybe they can just have her lick the mike for 2 hours!! Or at least rub her golden rack across the mike during breaks!

And when Internet in your vehicle becomes the norm, They better get their shit show on a better, more dedicated server, considering they are on one where anybody and their mother can pay to have a channel, and there will be considerable weeding out of the junk, namely, Norts webio.

This is destined to fail, and possibly a decade away.
