Assuming he had a 1 year deal and I think he started in October of last year? If anything I would think they got to keep Dan around during Bears season, especially after the dismissal of Doug Buffone? Not having an ex Bear talking Bears football is like having a cooking show without a chef. |

He does have a one year deal. I remember reading that when he signed. |

I think his deal included doing postgame shows on WBBM 780 & the Chicago Bears Radio Network working with the very boring & dull Ron Gleason along with another former Bear in Jay Hilgenberg in addition to his duties wrecking middays on The SCORE with LoHo.

So we all know when this will end...from July of last year: Quote: Bears great Dan Hampton will finalize a deal next week to join Laurence Holmes for middays (10 a.m.-noon) at the Score, beginning Sept. 2.
