My thoughts go to him on this Sunday as I was used to hearing him do "Hit & Run" right now. He's the only management left. Space, Bebe and Pappy are fired. Jesse is the PD. He has to listen to 20 people ask him "Am I gonna get paid?" I guess it doesn't matter. There is no way Chicagosportswebio can go on the air Monday. It has to be over. The guy has 3 kids. I know Good Dolphin said his wife is a lawyer but, still, can you imagine how his wife is bitching him out. Jesse's wife - I told you not to get involved with anything that stupid Mike North comes up with. You had a decent job at the Score. Why did you do this? Jesse - How was I suppose to know the checks would bounce? If a tree falls in the forrest it still could mean the grass is greener. Right? Jesse's wife - You dumb...stupid...fuck!! Go change the baby's diaper!! |

Jesse, Jesse, Jesse. A beautiful Sunday. You could've been out at Wrigley doing Hit & Run and then covering Cubs-Twins for the Score. Instead you're PD at a place where people aren't getting paid and you're two degrees of separation removed from an FBI probe. Such is the fate of men (and women, Jen) who cast their lot with Mike North. Hope everything works out for you and the family, but when will people ever learn? |

It does remind you of "The Honeymooners" a little bit. Where Ralph would always have some money making scheme and he'd convince Norton to come aboard. It would fail. Ralph and Norton would have to apologize to their wives in the end. |
