that tomorrow's Monsters show gets it's biggest ratings ever?

I know I'll turn it on at 6am just to see what north has to say.

I'll tape it for sure. Can't wait. Finally, compelling Webio/MITM.

I wouldn't be surprised if the show was cancelled.

If Monsters is on, North may not be on based on what Hernandez told Konkol in the Sun-Times:

"North's show "Monsters in the Morning," with Dan Jiggetts and Jen Patterson, airs from 6 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. A Comcast SportsNet spokesman said the show is still scheduled to air -- with North -- in its normal slot Monday. A special prime-time edition of the show is also scheduled for Monday night in advance of the White Sox-Cubs series.

The spokesman would not comment on whether the show will continue to be sponsored by NextStep Medical Staffing, which has paid for it until mid-July.

But Hernandez claims he was told by Comcast officials that North would be pulled from the program.

"Comcast knows we are in a partnership that's locked in legally until July 12," Hernandez said. "If Mike was no longer [on the show], the partnership will continue. If he is there, that will be a problem.""

The show has been replaced by Sports RISE in the cable listings but is still in Comcast's website.

If there is a webio, which I highly doubt, you won't hear much about this scandal as Hernandez controls that.

I don't think people realize how serious this is and what a disaster it is for all parties including Comcast. You can be sure they're having to chat with the FBI too. Something the Roberts family will wnat to nip in the bud. Any party here that has a good reputation and clean hands will want to wash the stench by association of this off ASAP.

I say no webio tomorrow and no Monsters...what say ye?

I just listened to the Webby and Fred podcast from Friday's show. Fred didn't offer up anything, but Weber made about 3 references (mainly in the 1st hour) about checks not clearing, and when they were plugging that Doug Glanville makes his weekly appearance on the show every Wednesday, he said "we hope", after plugging that.

I honestly doubt that there is a great increase because it is not a "go to" station. I cant punch it up in the car, and I cant listen from work...so...people will not go completely out of their way to listen. IMO. It could increase from 10 listeners to 11 I suppose.

EXACTLY! Any legit company would have taken off any image or information of a former employee within an hour.

I was talking about the Comcast TV part, not the webio version.
