To ignore all the legal bs that's going on right now, from a blank slate point of view, do you think the talent on CSWebio can attract enough advertisers to stay afloat?
On one hand, it seems to me that they should be able to do better than the sponsors they've attracted so far. If they can right the ship, perhaps it's better to lose NextStep, because I think they sold them some ridiculous exclusive package. Aside from your thoughts about north, he should deliver a big enough audience to get a few advertisers.
All that said, I'm not convinced that other than north & doug/OB, any of those shows can deliver enough advertisers to pay for overhead.
Thoughts?

North isnt part of Webio.

With him gone, I see the concept taking off.

North doesn't bring in listeners or advertisers. Why do you think they are in such a financial mess?

Got to figure they lost a lot of overhead with Schwartz and team North gone. Funny that the hosts showed up despite their checks bouncing. Maybe Hernandez convinced them that there is a radio deal around the corner. Perhaps Hernandez's plan all along was to get North and Schwartz to recruit and launch/promote webio and let them go when he leases the shows? Admittedly far-fetched and please ignore the F.B.I. investigation before replying. :D

I listened to it for the first time this AM. Not a bad concept at all. The 'Webby' guy, I thought, was very professional. Huebs was Huebs trying to gin up Sox/Cubs anger to get some calls.

Did they ever take a call? They gave out the number a bunch of times...I sent them an e-mail criticizing the Sox announcers and they said I didn't seem to be a Sox fan  .
