...it means it's not. It's impossible to set up a radio station with a full staff that pays people good salaries. That doesn't happen overnight. Everybody on this board knew that. Nobody is shocked that Pappy fell for it. Everybody knows he's stupid. Anybody else, who did leave decent jobs, should have known better. For those who didn't have anything better, good for you. You got something for a couple of months. |

Now you're just being a dick, Beardown. I think this has already set records for the most talked-about event on this board. |

Dont think anyone called the ponzi scheme involvment, but everyone called the running out of money, not profitable, bullshit newspaper stories. My favorite part of this is North's statements of 'trying to get it back". He can't even get a sponsor for his main show, how does he think he is going to finance all the people he is suppossed to pay? |

I think our very own Score Is Doomed said he smelled "Financial Scam" on this thing a couple of weeks ago. |

Yes, I think he's stupid--very stupid--but to tell you the truth, I actually AM shocked if he was totally taken in and scammed by Hernandez like this. As has been said in other posts, this was a pretty big undertaking and you'd think there would have been involvement by lawyers, background checks, due diligence checks, review of financial stattements, etc. Nobody--not ONE person involved in this--could have done a little asking and sniffing around and detected that something didn't smell right here? It just boggles my mind. |
