Maybe some of the legal experts here can add to this, but as I watched the Madoff and Stanford cases develop, they seem to be holding those with knowledge just as responsible. While I am not accussing Mike North of creating CSwebio.com to scam anyone, he had to be aware of the burn rate of money into this project and the existence of low incomes? Do I know it was low income for a fact, nope, but I will risk it and say revenue was minimal. This is why Hernandez kept up the "Profit" story for the media. North will be implicated in this scam and he will be asked the questions of to what degree did you know about it. Of course he will tell everyone he did nothing wrong in his eyes, which I think is the truth. However, when cross examined he will be asked if he knew the expenses? YES and if he knew the income? YES and as long as Johnkirk is not on the jury, North will not like the outcome. His legal fees alone will cost him on this one, thus I do not see him buying CSwebio as a few have predicted anytime soon. |

Do you honestly believe that Mike North knew that David Hernandez was a con Man running a ponzi scheme??? North was conned... |

Reading is a skill No I do not believe Mike North got into this deal to scam anyone and I am pretty sure this is exactly what I stated. BUT, as the GM of an entity you take on the responsibility of having certain knowledge that employees would not have and his wife, as another officer and Jeff Schwartz, all have access to information that the on air guys did not have. North claims he only started asking questions when checks bounced? What about when they had spent $456,000 of the $1,000,000 dedicated in the first 2 months and only brought in $16,000 in income? To be oblivious to this or to allow it to go on, will become a major issue in this soap opera. I believe a good attorney (or a dumb one) can prove North was not even close to in control of this company and didn't know any of it, but he should have and the feds will assume he had more knowledge than he did. |

You have to be kidding, Kirk; did you hear him out his pr machine this afternoon with Roe Conn? Bebe did a google search? Who knew you had to pay to do a detailed search? He went to someone to give him softball questions - North may not be stealing, but he is guilty for conning people - advertisers, employees, and the media (although they wanted to be conned). North is trying desperately to save whatever image he has - and it won't work. |

If North is somehow charged with a crime, which I find to be far fetched, his attorney has to prove absolutely NOTHING in Court...the Government has to prove North guilty....but with North's track record, North's attorney would have to lose sleep just knowing this guy can't keep his mouth shut.....not only before indictment....puking on himself to Federal Agents, but TAKING THE DAMNED WITNESS STAND AND SNATCHING DEFEAT FROM VICTORY. North has a right to remain SILENT and damned well better shut that mouth of his in front of law enforcement. |

If I was his attorney and I ever had to bring him into court I'd wheel him in in a shit-filled diaper mumbling something about putting giardenara on his shoes and eating them. Lead pipe cinch for the insanity defense. |

I think he's being proactive b/c he knows he needs to save the webio. It's all that stands between him and sports radio oblivion. |

You guys have this all wrong. The webio is not really the principal part of Hernandez' scheme. The only reason it is even mentioned is because it was writing bad checks. This is an offense, but only minor in comparison to the full scope of the scheme. |

That steak dinner Ofman ordered from room service in Detroit was probably paid for by some old lady's pension money. |

While true, but there is no indication anyone from webio was brought into the bigger picture on this. Webio was just going to be the PR branch for Hernandez to get more investors. |
