In about 10 minutes of actual work and for a total of $3.95, I found the story of Hernandez's fraud conviction and that he filed for bankruptcy three times in three years.

How stupid do you feel now, Mr. North. And Mrs. North? And anyone who was in a position to advise Mr. North, legally, financially, or otherwise?

I forwarded this information to Carol Slezak and she responded with the following email....

Thank you for forwarding this information to me, but I'm going to have to pass on using it since I don't understand what this has to do with Greg Olson the rapist?

It also has no info leading to the evil son of a bitch that offered to buy her a beer in Wrigleyville.

The internet is like a jet!

Except that it can be used to stop you from falling prey to con artists.

With this week's news, I think the UNDENIABLY CHICAGO is insulting to all Chicagoans.

I think I've made my point, but just one more thing--there's yet another site I found out there where you can look up criminal records. FOR FREE, I got David J. Hernandez of Downers Grove IL, to show up twice. Then, again for a modest fee, you can get details on the cases.

Seeing how easy all this was probably makes guys like Tim and Webby feel even worse, if that's possible. Maybe this can be a lesson to others faced with situations like this--these days the Internet is a powerful tool. Use it. Embrace it.

Leave it alone. These are the type of incidents where members on this site tend to go overboard.

Exactly...Fritzy has nothing to do with any of this.

I find the fact that "HEMLOCK BANK" figures prominently in that list ... fabulous. All we need now is a J. Jonah Jameson front-page blockbuster and this story will have completely gone off the wheels of reality.

Agreed dolphin.

This really is a huge indictment against the so-called sports "reporters" in ths town. Fucking joke. You know a Lupica, Albom, or Wilbon would have found this shit. Hell, a pantsless internet cretin found it!

He could probably borrow one from Antonio Mora when he is not doing the news.
