Just in case you guys want to let Comcast know how you feel about North.

Why bother? It's becoming increasingly obvious to me the man can do no wrong in the eyes of most people who matter in the media world. In that regard, I think the con North has pulled off for some 20 years makes Hernandez look like an amateur. Coppock was probably right. North will be back playing with other people's lives and money. No one will stand up to him. I'll betcha tomorrow Jesse, Fred, et al, would jump off a building if he told them to.

I don't know, Pappy Crappy. I think the number of followers is beginning to get smaller with each stupid move. Notice that Hub wasn't moronic enough to give him the time of day on this latest adventure.

Sure, JenJen and others will follow him off whatever cliff he decides to go over next; but most intelligent folks are growing wise to this routine.....

Geez, at the rate this attrition is taking place, I'll be long gone before the North "empire" finally crumbles.

If North was lining up another sponsor one month ago, and if checks were bouncing for quite some time (for at least some people), why did North let OB and Doug sign that contract last week?

This idea blows my fucking mind. Are you seriously writing a business and telling them not to employ somebody you hate? Think about that. Better yet, say it out loud and tell me you don't feel like a fucking psychopath. Further... go tell a loved one that you plan to write a TV station and tell them not to employ somebody because that is easier than ignoring a single TV channel for 3 hours in the morning when you are probably already at work. Honestly, this is the beginning step of a process that ends up with you breathing heavily outside his residence watching him sleeping.

This is fucking insane. I can't even believe I am reading this. I hate plenty of people on radio, in print, on TV and in Movies... but I can't even FATHOM the idea of approaching any of those businesses and telling them not to hire somebody. Didn't say you didn't have the right to do it, nor the right to hate him. I don't give a fuck who you hate. That's your business. I don't even care if you complain about him and hate him on here. That's the whole point of this place.

And full disclosure: I'm not a North backer. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't hate him. I do hate PLENTY of people in the media but it just chills my bones to think people could care about a radio host this much. Very creepy.

Chris, this whole webio scam story is going to reveal a lot about the psyches of the board members here. Myself included.

If he's a consumer of the product then he most definitely has a right to write the company and voice his concerns about the product they are putting out.

Remember, a radio job is a privilege, not a right.

Chris, would you agree that some (if not most) of the former webio guys have some resentment towards North and BeBe for not doing their due diligence? Most of these people that lost jobs are back on Monster and Career Builder while North falls back on MITM. He'll be showing those ugly teeth and shrilling that Peter Griffin like voice tomorrow as if nothing happened.

They have to, spmack. I know Chet didn't sound like he had any ill will towards Northy, but if you caught the podcast, Boom Boom said just that. For guys like Webby who put their faith in North, I would imagine that relationship has to be over or hanging on by a string.

But having a buddy who knows David Hernandez (and knowing a few of his 'investors'), I know what type of guy he is (I think most people do now), and he is clearly the bad guy. Berns points out that if North knew what was going on, he is most certainly in deep shit... however from everything I have heard, North had no clue. Again, not saying you can't blame North for not doing his research... you can. But he doesn't deserve the lion's share of the blame.


9 out of 10 new businesses fail, right? So North and everyone else had to know that there was a large chance this would be unsuccessful. Hernandez clearly was the money, and North clearly the guy running the show. So as long as the money was flowing in, I don't see why North had any reason to worry. I understand the whole "if it's too good to be true, it probably is," but that's usually difficult to recognize and react to while you are living it. Much easier in hindsight.


Again... not letting North off the hook at all. But in my opinion, most of this blame falls on Hernandez.

Chris, want to tell more? I know you hinted at this a few days ago.

If you were writing them in order to better the product of CSN, I would commend you. However, this is clearly not your motive... instead your motive is to harm North and get him fired. This is why I find it creepy. Instead of just ignoring the wind bag, you felt it necessary to attempt to get him fired... which is clearly derived from your hatred of the man. In my opinion (free speech, right?), that's fucked up.
