Something doesn't add up with this, especially when he talks about 7 to 10,000 listeners. this guy is full of shit.... (Sherman's) a flack... Hernandez and North are lying if they say people are paying BIG money to advertise for 7000 listeners. Only a fool believes that, I guess I mean you johnkirk.

(Hernandez's claim about placing programming on a Chicago-area radio outlet) sounds suspiciously like North's claim that he had offers from 8 stations on the table when he got launched by WSCR...before he fulfilled his lifelong dream of having a sports betting website.

Hernandez is an idiot. Claiming public profits means someone is expecting to see taxes paid. he should have shut the hell up about revenues.

This article also reminds me that Sherman is little more than a PR flack. The "news" content of this article is greatly outweighed by Hernandez's pitch to advertisers.... If this were truly a news item, he'd have at least one more POV other than using the "many people..." trope, which is the epitome of hack reporting. There is very little difference between this piece and a press release.... Using once source, and creating a vague opposing POV based on little more than conventional wisdom, is not journalism. It's advertising. It's a published infomercial.... An important question—did Hernandez sink has own money into this, his company's, or outside investors? I give North a lot of credit if he didn't put a single dollar into this venture.... If Hernandez is smart, he got the capital from investors and incorporated the webio as an LLC, S corp, etc. That way the webio can shut down and not pay back its creditors. And Hernandez's personal assets are safe. North et. al. pocket whatever they've been paid to date.

I am calling bullshit on this, I run a site, know the expenses, get more traffic than CSW, and I am nowhere near the kind of numbers this idiot is falsely claiming, WITH better advertising revenue. Who does this twat think hes fooling?.... North going to radio is saying the webio is a failure, and no amount of lying will change that.

Nobody dumps that kind of money into this venture to get on WJYD 1120 AM and if National syndication was really part of the plan, then Chicago Sports Webio might need to change its name?.... Over the years leasing to business after business, I can tell you if the business plan is good, if they are well capitalized and if they are making money and I have yet to see the one who opened the doors in a down economic environment and starting turning a profit in less than 6 months.

Didn't I tell you non-believers that there was a bigger strategic plan for CSW that included simulcasting on AM?...This is why WSCR made a huge mistake when they let North go. I cant wait to have another sports radio station on AM820. And when I compare the lineups, I will listen to more CSW than WSCR.... The CSW plan from day one was to eventually broadcast on an AM radio station. How the hell do you think North was able to hire all the guys that he hired?
