Rock, you might as well give your thoughts on the whole North/Hernandez/Webio thing...everyone else has...we'd like to hear from you too. I remember you posted on here that you never got a call about joining Webio.

Rock = Spada = NO!

As far as Webio....I never did receive a phone call to join and for that I'm grateful. I've always stated (talking with the people around SCR and the people who left) that I probably wouldn't go because I believe it would be a resume killer. The money may have been nice (and it was almost too good to believe) but you have to look at the future as well. Going from a station in Chicago on morning drive producing as well as hosting on weekends plus producing Chicago Bears games and appearances weekly during football season....it would have destroyed my resume. I think more toward the future of my career than what my checkbook may look like tomorrow.

I feel sorry for the people who did leave because for each of them that did....it was about the money cause they weren't getting it here.

I feel sorry for them because if the webio project was to go down....that's not the way you wanna go. I find it interesting however that the entire focus of the ball dropping is on Hernandez and no one else.

Did I listen to webio....rarely. I believe before their last day of broadcasting I tuned in only on the first day out of curiosity. I am very happy to be in the situation I am and grateful to have a job period in today's society. Too many good people are losing too much now a days.

It'll be interesting to see when the next ball drops.

This soap opera is almost as interesting as WWE.

As far as podcasting....sorry.

I'm just happy that my cell phone can post on this site....good stuff when riding the 151 at 1:00am.

Talk to you all tonight.

Just messing with you, Rock. Even in the midst of the MNMS fiasco, you didn't hide from us or create bullshit mults.

You have a show, Rock!!!! You're media!!! You worked with North!!!! Why don't you be one of those guys that doesn't drop the ball?

This board is the only one asking questions and saying it's not just Hernandez's fault.

Why don't you call him out? Doubt you will. Something about everybody who knows North. You're all scared to call him out. Even in light of this recent fiasco. It's amazing. He's finished, Rock. He can't ruin you. I know. I know. He was always nice to you. Although I don't really believe that.

But do me a favor, Rock, don't criticize the media if you're not gonna call him out on your show. Ok? Thanks.

Rock - why aren't evening shows (including your show) podcasted by the Score? Why does this seem to be such a difficult thing for the Score? Even the shows that podcast are sometimes slow to be posted, and occasionally aren't at all (Boers and Bernstein).

Drinky and Goff are happy as hell. Beardown has something else to occupy his strange radio conspiracy fetishes and is leaving them alone.
I am sure the local strippers are happy, as well.

Ok, I'm the ass. I'm not the one who lured 30 people to a scam. I'm not the one who knew Hernandez for 10+ years. I'm not the one who took bad money.

I'm just saying if Rock is saying that somebody should be called out, THEN YOU BE THAT PERSON THAT CALLS HIM OUT!!!! If he doesn't want to do it, for whatever reason, fine. But don't say "Man, somebody is missing the boat on this."

Wow, that's horrible for me to say.

Ok. Disregard what I said, Rock. I'm just pissed that no acutal reporter in Chicago will touch this story. You struck a nerve with me when you called out the media cuz I consider you media.

You can't do it. You can't break bad on other radio people in Chicago. Those people have friends and that would hurt you. You're trying to make it and you have a wife and kid. I get it. Sorry. The real problem are the actual investigative reporters in this city.

As far as I know the only shows to be "podcasted" are the main dawgs. Alot of the weekend crew is limited to just interviews (which Joe and I do none).

For our show I'd rather include good segments as opposed to a whole show. Highlights rather than the raw.

Makes it easier to "podcast" on the ol 60 GB IPOD....

but who knows...I'm sure we'll hook it up on the weekend crew sometime.

Although my knowledge of the whole situation is what I've read in the papers, it just seems sorta weird to put all this "scandal" **if you wanna call it that** on one guy.

It just seems to me from an outsider point of view as someone knew something or someone was despirate (sp?) and decided to go with it no matter what the cost or risk.

That's just my opinion.

As far as calling out North....I know nothing more than what the papers have said therefore how can I call someone out?

Rock, you just did call someone out based on what you've read in the papers. Like any normal thinking person. Thanks.

Desperate, by the way.

How can I call someone out with no facts?

I need to backup the "calling out"

Maybe I'm just missing the point and should stop watching the Sox turn back into a softball team in Cin.

No Rock, you just need to learn Beardown-speak. I would advise against it, though. It will sap all of your senses.

Well, they're "triple hops brewed", so you have that going for you, which is nice, I guess, if you are into horse piss.
You may be able to find an acorn, but you seem to be having trouble finding a decent beer.
