As we all know DH's con game put a number of people in the hole. One of them is COMCAST, because they plan on returning the $300,000 one day. Thus the deal that had very little downside, suddenly has a downside. I know many people would like to blame North is this, which I think is right, but legally it won't stick.

Let's just say North did not have Next Step as his main sponsor, this would probably have been the end of the show. This scam actually saved MITM from going good bye.

I have also heard that the extended part of this vacation was not planned, but necessary to have some meetings on everyones part. Board of Directors at COMCAST need to decide on returning the $300,000 or at least planning on it. How much of that $300,000 was paid to Licorice, Ltd. and do they ask for that to be returned.

North needed this time to continue his search for a major new sponsor to keep this boat afloat. Also hearing the idea of free ad time was offered to potential advertisers and rejected.

Maybe Mike finds himself a new name sponsor or a slew of new smaller sponsors, but in the long run, I have no doubt this show will be shut down for the simple lack of sponsors.

Part of this makes no sense. If Comcast is flushing $300,000 down the tubes, why keep the show on the air? It is definitely a loser for the 6 months with no real money coming in.
This should be the time to cut their losses now and not wait for it to get worse.

The Feds are going to chase down the funny money.
The $300,000.00 Comcast got from Hernandez is dirty.
Somebody there had better write a check to Uncle Sam.

Thanks for the laughs, North.

Bob, I understand that part. I just don't understand why Comcast would keep paying to keep this POS show on the air. Why pour more money down the old rathole?

Agreed.....I can't see how this uneducated unsophisticated blowhard North has everybody under his spell.

I doubt it's a spell. Nobody (here anyways) knows what the exact details of this, potentially complex, arrangement are. Also, keep in mind that one of the principal owners of the cable station is managed by a BK judge. How is that for an additional level of complexity? This is a type of situation for a multidisciplinary, big firm legal team which means sky high fees. The 300K of sponsorship money would be a joke compared to it.

Who are these smaller investors and sponsors going to be?

Beef stands?
Body and Fender shops?
Gibson's?
Vegas Casinos?

Chet Coppock tells us Mike North is this great financier...can raise the capital.

Some of these people need drug testing.
