Good luck Spada. I'm glad you've rethought the Big Mistake I warned you about earlier.

Who is Robin? What do you guys talk about? I know you have athletes on, but that won't grab my attention. What kinds of subjects do you guys build these shows around?

What caused you to switch back?

Regardless of the outcome of webio, I thought you "weren't happy with current management". Did the webio's demise cause you to rethink your happiness with WSCR management?

The two concepts seem incongruent to me.

Hope you leave the dumbassed celebrity DUI references in your car.
You have generated enough negativity.

Just check the odds and predictions on Don't Rat Me Dot Com before you do. The sports handicapping talent includes cocktail waitresses and hot dog guys.

How about a Dumb and Dumber segment...you interview Chet Coppock and Mike North?

Any chance of getting David Hernandez on live from the MCC?

Does this mean you aren't going to advertise with chicagosportswebio.com any more?

I need to start tuning in. This over the air radio thing is dying, it's like a prop plane. I need to get aboard the supersonic jet that is the webio.

I thought CSFMB was the only advertising Spada could afford.

Shouldn't the thread title be: "Defender of Drunk Drivers and Obscure Chicago Bear Permitted to Use Server Space at 670thescore.com"

I have decided to stop advertising on the SCORE and commit my resources to Chicagosportswebio.com, the Monsters in the Morning, and my show Bearly Legal.

Ooops, maybe not.

Quote:
The Score was good to me for over 7 years but I am not happy with the current management.
I wish Mully and Hanley the best. They were the only show I could stomach when Mike North left.

But I like the managment enough to get as far away from webio and the fraud case.

Quote:
I predict that webio will grow and become extremely successful. They have great talent and the talent and management have the determination to make it a success.

With predictions like that, I suppose you are still waiting for 8 tracks to make a comeback.

My commercials will stop airing at the end of the month.

If a commercial stops airing in the forrest, is there anyone there not to hear it?

I would wish you well on the move if I thought it would bring us any closer to having you never post here again, but since that isn't likely, I'll just say "go fuck yourself" instead...

You see how I asked an important question in a courteous manner and received an answer promptly?
I've never listened to Spada's show and probably never will. You should do the same. If you don't like
it, don't listen. I will give the man credit for having the nuts to get his show on the air.
Yeah, he's a self promoter. Seems to be a lot of that going on. Why don't you rip Coztansa or
WZ about their bands? Isn't that self promotion? How about Mac and others promoting their shows?
I'll certainly admit to being a shameless self promoter.
Do I like DUI lawyers? No! Do I like lawyers that advertise? No!
That said, his profession is legal, is it not?
Funny how so many people rip this guy for representing drunk drivers. Do all of the people
who rip Spada for representing the people charged with DUI also rip the people they know for
driving after drinking? Have any of you who rip Spada for his chosen career ever had a few too many before
getting behind the wheel? Some of you make it sound like Spada is more guilty than the drivers.
How does Spada like his coffee? I don't know, but I'll bet he tells you if you ask him as if you were a normal human being.

Anybody can get into a legal jam.

I believe everybody is entitled to representation.

I have no problem with an attorney advertising, as long as the ads are appropriate.

I do have a problem with an attorney going Mike North on a radio audience with ignorant ideas like Celebrity DUI.

A potential client might think the charge is some sort of a joke, and the Prosecutors sure won't see the humor in it.

Don't put your clients in jeopardy because you think you are cute.

It's just a message board, friend. You seem to rush to Spada's defense awfully fast, that's all. Obviously Spada can make his living however he wants. But like others have said, the Celebrity DUI of the Week is something he can control, and should probably stop for the sake of his professional integrity as a lawyer.

The nuts to broadcast? Simple DIY. All you need to make a CD-sound quality podcast is some decent recording equipment and a computer w/ sound editing software, which can be freeware or easy to find on P2P networks or BitTorrent. Make yourself a web site w/ a blog, post the clips and you're as credible as Spada.

And yes, Mac indirectly self-promotes but he actually contributes to the community and engages others on the board. Spada just puts out his announcements and rarely responds to direct questions. And his "screw you, Mitch Rosen" announcement was grandstanding, proven to be even more embarrassing in the webio aftermath.

Good thing the radio business (namely Mitch Rosen) is forgiving. I'd tell you to go fuck yourself.

"Go Fuck Yourself" -Hey Spada, that can be a new bit on your show. You can even swear on the internet. $1,000 a month and you can use it. Then we can be friends.
