Wow! Put him back in suspended animation until early September. Remember what a cocky,little bitch he was a few years back? That's when he was on the Bears broadcasting team. He set off WSCR nation by asking callers: "You ever put the pads on?" BUT since that time, I think he has improved since getting jettisoned by the Bears. |

At least he had the good sense to have his picture and bio pulled from dontfademe.com about two days into that sinking ship. For that, I'll give him everlasting credit, but to be hosting a general sports talk show covering baseball in a city where one of the team's major rival is the Twins and not knowing the Baggie . . . come on. |

Hub can be good at times and a cocky dick at times. I like the fact that he does not report as if he is an employee of the team like ZZ - Hub is critical of the team when it warrants while ZZ just swallows Bear love juice all day. |

Since his contract was not renewed by WBBM Newsradio 780 & the Chicago Bears Radio Network a few years ago, Hub Arkush has been an asset analyzing and talking about the Bears and the NFL since joining 670 The SCORE. He should know that the baggy in right field, when the Twins play, partially covers the football seats at the Metrodome. I don't know if Hub had a Dick Stockton-like senior moment when he said it...That aside, I predict you will hear a lot more of Hub come football season. It won't sound the same, but I predict Hub will replace Doug Buffone & Ed O'Bradovich once the Bears' game ends this September and fans switch over from Jeff Joniak, Tom Thayer & Zach Zaidman on WBBM when the clock hits zero, win or lose. |

Shit, I've been calling it that since the first time I played RBI baseball on the NES and had a home run bounce off it...I loved how it was the same height as the Green Monster in the game...also, I think it was Seattle that had a huge wall in the game... |

He seems like a bit of an idiot. I was listening a little while back when his co-host (I think Zaidmen) brought up the idea that there may be a large number of people at Wrigley Field who are not necessarily there for the game itself. Hub took great offense to this and acted as though he never heard of this before. It was quite ridiculous... |

Remember...There's no White Sox game until Friday night vs. Brian Roberts & the Orioles at U.S. Cellular Field, so local sports talk for the most part is still the plan, even with the regular SCORE guys on vacation.
