They will start on Thanksgivng airing a 3rd Turkey day game. Then from there on out they will air 7 more Saturday or Thursday games.

It works out well because after Thanksgiving college football is basically done untill The bowl games.

I consider the specialty games to be bad from a betting perspective. Instead of looking over 14 games and choosing the one you like the most you are left with one game that is given to you.

I think it sucks from a watching perspective as well. NFL football should be on Sundays (I don't particularly like MNF either).

It is more appropriate for colleges to play on odd days as there are enough games each week to spread the talent around. The NFL does not have as many games and even fewer quality matchups.
