This was inevitable. Will it be the end of North and Jiggs? Probably not; but the first round was fired. Don't be too surprised though if this the first of many to go after Hernandez's "business partner."

Puckhead; I doubt it will be that simple. The offer to settle out of court is based on money. These people are suing to get the money back. Even if North offers to give back everything to this couple; they still will want a pound of flesh. He's up shit creek without a paddle now, as I'm sure they won't be the only investors to go after him as well.

I think making Jiggetts a part of this is crap. Was he an investment partner? He "should" be protected from lawsuit under his employment contract.

I have made my position on North known. I liked the guy that I heard on the radio. I knew he was likely a moron in real life. But, he made a mistake on this one by not doing a background check on his business partner. Its his fault and he should suffer the consequences.

So let's see. If Bebe did a proper background check (but who is to say she didn't?) then they would have realized this is a guy with a checkered past. You have to ask yourself, who else was willing to invest in cswebio? And of them, who else was a mic sniffer who might hang on longer than the average investor (because of the love of the media, etc.)? I know, it's fun to beat up on the guy, but what if they entered agreements knowing they had to take a chance? What then?

Ultimately, it was Next Step/Hernandez who set up the ponzi to keep tiers of investors happy. Which is the true source of the complaint...

Although, suing North for being a such a bad investment is interesting. I suppose if they actually billed people they ran ads for, it might've helped. Geez, and that wasn't a large amount anyway.
