Brian Dolgan has been doing the majority of mourning updates. Maybe Space listened to the board and realized that an update guy should have the ability to speak and not make snide remarks about the company's on air talent. Hood has been kept away from the afternoon show when someone is out as well. Thanks for listening Space. Check back in and we will help you on future decisions. |

I've wondered the same thing, in regards to Hood and the morning SportsCenter updates. I still have to admit that while Tom Shaer was not the greatest, he was better than Hood at doing the updates (and normally when you fire somebody, the replacement is suppose to be better). I haven't heard too many Dolgin SportsCenters, so I am hesitant to say whether he is good or not. The first few Dolgin did were brutal, but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's settled into it by now. A pointless thing that I noticed about him is he is obsessed with mentioning ESPNRadio1000.com at the beginning of his :20 and :40 updates, when everyone else only does them during the top of the hour with the Legal ID. |

Both the OG and Dolgan handle all of the mourning update shifts through the week. I thought they specifically hired Hood for this role. He barely works 5 days a week now with the Bulls and UIC game. Hey Nas you and Hood are related. Whats up with the lack of Hood? Ask him at dinner tonight. |
