Hit & Run is MUCH improved with Matt Spiegel at the helm. Keep it up, Spiegs.

It's hard to describe, but there's now a more 'professional' feel to it. I think Spiegel has a wealth of knowledge and can bring much more to the listener than (cough cough) Jessie Rogers and Zach Zaidman.

If I want to listen to two fans arguing about the same tired topics over & over, I'll saddle up to the bar at the local Buffalo Wild Wings. Spiegel obviously brings a lot more to the table than that.

Props to 670 for finally getting this right.

Another plus is Spiegs isn't trying to be a "personality" on H&R like he does on the Danny Mac Show. He's toned down from like an 11 to a 5! But it's a great listen.

Meat shouldn't try to "out-Mac" Mac. I think if he maintained this level, and let Mac be the 'personality', we'd see a much better product weekdays from 9-1 (not that it's a bad show).

I agree, meatpants does a good job on this show, much better than he does on Mac's show.

My thoughts exactly. I like Spiegel with Mac, but he really is good in this role. I think I listened to Jessi and Zach for about 10 minutes before PTFB. That was brutal and this current lineup is a much better listen.

+1 Got to listen for a few hours coming back from up north. Easy listen
and a good program.

Agreed. Spiegel prioritizes his subject matter over his "personality" on this show, thus making it very engaging.
